EQUAL RIGHTS...EQUAL OPPURTUNITIES

Equally Important...

“Everyone in our democracy deserves to be treated with fairness and justice, and have that right in our constitution.” Throughout history, equal rights have always been a major issue in many countries like Philippines. People have fought and died to protect their rights and the rights of their love ones here in our country.

Most people assume that citizen’s are the only ones who are being discriminated against equal rights. Today women and men do have equal rights by law, and that only holds aloft in the court houses. On the streets, men and women have to deal with a different story everyday of their lives. Everyone of us deserves a freedom, a freedom that we can feel that we are really free. We are free in expressing our thoughts; we are free to do our happiness, we can feel that we are equal and have the rights to choice whatever we want in life. We are everybody’s God’s children, if what boys can, girls also can do that. There is no reason why we should discriminate other people. We are all equal in the eyes of God.

Women and men should have equal rights. We are both humans, we both cry, we both hurt, and we both bleed. There is no reason why women should have fewer rights than boys.

Reflection for the Second Quarter

Am I SATISFIED.???

Second Grading Period is already done! But it’s not that so easy during this quarter. As in the quarter there were still some problems that I encounter during this quarter.

But this time, I gained more knowledge and discover some strategies that can help me doing my blog faster and easier than the past quarter so I can manage still those activities that are not yet done.

During the 2nd quarter, some of the problems that I had encounter is lack of time because of so many requirements to be pass at the same time, so many activities to do, and a lot of meeting regarding to a particular matter. Even weekend, for me it is still school days because I am sacrificing my weekend just to finish those requirements that are not yet done, so for me I don’t have any more time for “resting.”

No doubt, I’m so happy that I have done my part as a student and as a Special Math Class with in this institution. I’m not yet contented of what I’ve done in this quarter, there are still two more quarters so I must strive harder to improve my skills and to fulfill my goals in life. So in that way, I may be satisfy for what I’ve done.

WORLD TEACHERS' DAY 2014

My Teacher, My Hero...

“Education is the key to success in life, and TEACHERS make a lasting impact in the lives of their students.” Every student do many acts of thanksgiving which are easy, simple but equally special, meaningful, memorable, and soulfully rewarding to teachers.

The way they LOVE…The way they CARE…The way they TEACH…For me, TEACHERS is my hero..Why? It is simply because they were the one who taught us the best knowledge so that in the future, we will have a good life and successful careers. Teaching is the one profession that creates all other professions. There will be no doctors, accountants, nurses, managers and other employees if there is no teachers who guide us in our future. The way they treat their students like their own child. They were our second parents who loved, care and protect us in life. Teachers also guide a student and a pointer to the truth that each student must find for himself.

Teacher, teacher, you’re the best leader. You’re a role model and a protector to us. To the world, you may be just a teacher but to your students you are a hero.

2014 Science Club Month Celebration

2014 Science Club Month Celebration

As we all know, September is the celebration of the National science Club Month.  And this year, the theme of the NSCM celebration is “Immunation: Arming Science Clubbers with Healthful Defenses towards National Wellness.”

The word “Immunation” comes from a two word “Ammunition” and ”Immunization” which brought to an idea of the word “defense”. Nowadays, our health is at risk because of the different viruses, bacteria, and sickness that we are suffering right now here in our country. We must protect ourselves from harmful diseases by arming ourselves and to be immune against diseases and to prevent them to spread. We must help each other to protect our health in many different sicknesses before it would be too late.

“To keep the body in good health is a duty…otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.” Fight for our health!

My Modern Hero

 Parents..My Real Hero.....

We have our own hero in life. There are many superheroes that we know since we are still a child and up to now. Like superman, batman, spiderman, wonderwoman, and many more with their own superpowers. But heroes is not only those who have powers, instead, all of us can be a hero in our own way. Who is your modern hero?

For me, my modern hero is my parents. Because of them, I'm still here. I'm nothing without them. I appreciate all of their sacrifices since in the first, and both of them were there to support and guide us their children to our journey in life. They were my first teacher who taught me all the things between what is right and what is wrong. They were also my doctor, chef, and a role model to us their children. Honestly, I can’t express to them how much I love both of them because of being shy but deep in my heart and soul, I love them so much. They never left us hanging, but by loving, helping, and caring for them, in that way I can show my deepest thankful to them as my parents. I'm so proud of you mama and papa.

Parents can plant magic in a child's mind through certain words spoken with some thrilling quality of voice, some uplift of the heart and spirit. Our parents deserve our honor and respect for giving us life itself.

"WIKA NG PAGKAKAISA"

Wikang Filipino

Kaming mag-aaral, Pilipino kung tawagin,
Kami’y ipinanganak na may layunin,
Ipagtanggol, tangkilikin, at gamitin,
Sariling wika’y minamahal namin.

Pilipinas, perlas ng Silanganan,
Inalipin at sinakop ng mga dayuhan,
Pero, Pilipino’y nagkaisa’t lumaban,
Makamtan lang ang lubos na kalayaan.

Iba-iba man ang dayalekto,
Naiiba pa rin ang BAYAN ko,
Pilipino nga ang lahi ko,
Taas noo kahit kanino.

Sa amin, BAYANIHAN ay napakahalaga,
Tungo sa magandang kinabukasan,
Pilipino’y nagkakaisa, saan man magpunta,
Wikang Filipino ang siyang sandata.

KATIWALIAN, bulong ng katabi ko,
PAGKAKAISA, sigaw ng nasa harapan ko,
Sama-sama lahat ng mga Pilipino,
Dala-dala ang wika, saan man tumungo.

Reflection

My Reflection

In just more than 2 months of discussion, I gained a lot of knowledge and discover more things in our subject ICT IV with our dynamic teacher Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz. The best thing that I had learned during the First Quarter is on blogging. This serve as an opportunity for me as a student to have access, and to give our own reactions on a particular issue and this also serve as our own diary.
Blogging is a fun activity but by the time we are posting any comments regarding to a particular issue, we must be responsible enough in expressing thoughts and opinions with in that issue.
Walking to this journey, there were some problems that I've encountered, and some of those problems includes: when I was stuck in a page and I didn't know what the next step is. Another is when groupmate used the whole time in doing her blog even if I’m not yet that with my own. But as long as my classmates and especially to my teacher were there, I’m not afraid to commit mistakes because they were there for me.  They are ready to help me in either to improve my work better.
Moving on, I will apply that knowledge and learning that I have gained in this quarter to the next quarter. I think that this knowledge that I've gained will help me faster and easier to do my job better in the next quarter.

5th SONA: July 28, 2014

July 28. 2014, our dynamic President Benigno Simeon C. Aquino III delivered his 5th State of the Nation Address. His SONA (speech) focus mainly on the government’s good governance and anti-corruption campaigns.
“The Filipino is worth dying for, the Filipino is worth living for, and the Filipino is worth fighting for.” This is one of the sentences that President Aquino said during his speech. Unlike in his previous SONA’s, the President was relatively less combative and was more sentimental on how the gains of “daang matuwid” were now manifested in Philippine society. And I agreed to what he said, we all know that in olden times, “Philippines” is one of the riches country in the entire world. He also tackled about the need to stop certain DAP-funded projects. He must prioritize those people who are really in need of jobs and shelter that were attacked by calamities. But overall, as a young citizen, I’m so proud of being a Filipino and I’m so proud of you our dear President. Good job sir!
